What it’s for
Playground turf replaces mulch and sand with a clean, even surface that stays put. MasterSport 70 is a dense 1.19″ flat-blade turf built for play and sport, and it goes down over a foam shock pad matched to the height of the equipment.
For infill we carry OptiFILL 30/50 PG, a rounded, coated sand with an antimicrobial and anti-static finish made for playgrounds. We supply contractors building playgrounds for daycares, churches, schools, parks and HOAs, and families doing backyard play areas.

Yes. A foam shock pad under the turf is what cushions falls. The thickness depends on how tall the equipment is.
